] 2222 Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, NH 03801 Lafayette Animal Hospital is actively looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician OR a Veterinary Technician that will be taking the VTNE within the next 6•8 months. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing and Lafayette Animal Hospital encourages its staff to do the same. Pay Range:

$20•$24 (based on experience)

Hours:

30•40 hours per week

Requirements:

Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician, license must be current OR must be planning to take the VTNE within the next 6 months (required) 1+ years in the veterinary industry (preferred) Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment Experience with proper animal handling and restraint Believes in the importance of client education Compassionate toward our patients and clients Motivated to learn new skills Positive and supportive team player
