We provide full-service small animal general medicine, surgery, orthopedic, theriogenology for canines, behavioral, and urgent care services. Expectations of a Broadview Animal Hospital Certified Veterinary Technician Positive Attitude Thirst for Knowledge Client Education Compassion Honesty and Respect Empowering fellow team members Responsibilities of a Broadview Animal Hospital Certified Veterinary Technician Surgical admission and client education Drug calculations and maintain medical history for patients Catheter placement and venipuncture Surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring Dental cleaning, polishing, and radiography Patient triage and routine animal care Administer injectable medications and vaccines Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift 50lb Qualifications for Certified Veterinary Technician Certified or Licensed Veterinary Technician – You must be certified to qualify for this position.
