Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support our veterinarians with a variety of medical procedures while helping ensure that every patient receives top-quality, empathetic care. Your skills and experience in animal care will directly impact the well-being of pets and the confidence of the people who love them. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during exams, and medical procedures, maintaining a clean, sterile environment. Administer medications, vaccines, and prescribed treatments. Conduct routine lab work, including blood draws, fecal tests, and urinalysis. Monitor and report on the health and behavior of hospitalized animals. Accurately update and maintain patient medical records. Educate pet owners on post-treatment care, nutrition, and preventative wellness. Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all treatment and kennel areas. Requirements Experience working in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred. Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures, animal physiology, and husbandry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, RVT, LVT) or degree in Veterinary Technology is highly desirable. Ability to work 10 hour work days Monday through Thursday.
