30/Hour on W-2 Newkleo is hiring an Animal Health Laboratory Worker (Histology Technician) for one of their clients in Ewing, NJ .

Job Description:

Initiates animal tissue dissection and grossing. Conducts tissue processing, embedding, and staining maintains orderly storage systems for paraffin blocks, frozen blocks, and finished slides. Maintains the inventory of supplies in pathology. Maintains supplies of fixatives, solvents, materials, and other supplies for preservation and processing of tissues into completed routine slides. Prepares, maintains, and files lab records, observations, and worksheets. Assists in specimen receiving, preparation, and examination. Updating or retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested. Mandatory skills/certification(s)

Requirement:

Histo technician (HT) or Histo technologist (HTL) certification or eligibility for certification issued by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP).

Work hours:

8:45 AM – 4:45
