Veterinary Technician Prism Integrative Veterinary Health 33 Newman Springs Road, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724 Rapidly growing Integrative Veterinary practice seeking a self driven, detail oriented, eager to learn, team player to join our special group. Our rapidly growing practice provides integrative treatments such as acupuncture, herbal therapy, nutrition, intravenous therapies, and medical ozone as well as conventional care including blood work, cytology, and laboratory diagnostics. Doctors will provide integrative treatments to dogs, cats, avian and exotic as well as companion mammals and reptiles. Employee would be expected to participate in multiple facets of the practice including but not limited to: Exams and clinical history taking Client communication Medical record review Clerical tasks Restraint for routine procedures such as phlebotomy & intravenous catheter placement Assistance during acupuncture & laser sessions Formulation of herbal prescriptions Fluid administration Monitoring and administration of intravenous, subcutaneous or oral medications and treatments. Performing & sending out integrative diagnostics Previous experience with holistic or integrative treatments not required, however an open mind and desire to learn is an absolute must. Previous veterinary experience is required. Our clinic does not require emergency or holiday shifts, including major federal holidays, as practice will be closed.
