Requirements:

Applicants must have a strong work ethic, preserve a positive personality. Be capable of communicating effectively, have the ability to work in harmony with a team. Be willing to learn technical and diagnostic skills. Have a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients and form a strong bond with our clients and community. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 yrs experience (preferred). We are willing and happy to train the right candidate with less experience.

Schedule/Salary:

This position is full-time. The schedule is flexible. No holidays and an occasional Saturday (9-1). Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms and use veterinary software for documenting medical notes. Obtain laboratory sample collection, process, and possibly interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears). Perform diagnostic imaging. Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable). Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients. Communicate with and educate clients. Provide compassionate patient care. Experienced applicants can perform more technical duties.
