You will assist doctors with all aspects of medical care for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, other exotic pets, and wildlife! This is not an entry level position. Ideal candidates have the following skills: patient surgical prep assisting doctors in surgery catheter placement anesthesia monitoring post-surgical patient monitoring medication injection and blood draws collection and analysis of test specimens utilizing Abaxis lab equipment data collection and accurate recording in paperless computer system (Avimark) ability to position for digital radiographs great customer service skills to communicate well with pet owners certification/license is ideal but not required The weekday schedule is set with occasional Saturday mornings.
