✨ What You’ll Do As an Animal Care Technician , you’ll play a vital role in keeping our animals healthy, safe, and happy. No two days are the same — and you’ll get to work with a variety of species!

Your day might include:

Feeding, walking, and caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and enclosures Helping animals feel safe, loved, and enriched with toys, playtime, and socialization Assisting with basic medical care, such as giving medications Noticing and reporting changes in behavior or health Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming shelter space

What We’re Looking For Required:

A high school diploma or GED A strong work ethic and love for animals Willingness to work with all species and pitch in wherever needed Flexible, friendly, and dependable

Preferred:

Prior experience working with or handling animals Comfort using computer systems to track information

Ideal Candidates Will Be:

Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working weekends, and a few holidays per year (an early morning or afternoon shift) Organized and detail-oriented Calm under pressure and good at multitasking Positive, team-oriented, and respectful Physically capable of lifting 40 lbs and walking strong dogs Pay & Perks $13+hour depending on experience Flexible part-time schedule (20-30 hours/week). Once your hours are established, our schedule remains pretty consistent. Daytime hours of 7am

  • 5:30pm (10 hour shifts with a 1/2 hour break) Paid biweekly, direct deposit required Adoption discounts after 6 months of continuous employment.
