Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze samples. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Maintain accurate medical records for each patient. Provide care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. Educate pet owners on proper animal care and training techniques. Ensure a clean and safe environment in the clinic or hospital. Handle animals safely and effectively during examinations or procedures. Skills Strong knowledge of animal care practices, including dog handling and equine management. Proficiency in veterinary terminology to communicate effectively with the veterinary team. Experience with laboratory procedures and diagnostics.
