For these reasons, we are excited to announce that ournew Priority Pet Urgent Care of Hermitage is on the horizon!

We’llbe available for urgent care pet needs 7 days a week from 2pm -10pm. We’re looking to hire the most compassionate, experienced,and qualified Veterinarians and support staff, to ensure thehighest quality of medicine is provided. Our new building and stateof the art equipment will provide our teams the space and toolsthey’ll need to deliver the best in service and medicine for ourcommunity!

Pet restraint, triage incomingpatients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnosticimaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalizedcases with varying degrees of stability, administration ofmedications, effective communication of treatment plans withclients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anestheticmanagement.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.

May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentiallycontagious diseases.

QualificationsWe’reLooking For:

A Licensed Veterinary Technician with an active licenserequired, 1+ year professional experience preferred but notrequiredConsistent punctuality and reliability in adherence toscheduled shiftsAvailability to work weekendsExcellent clientcommunication and medical record management skillsComprehensiveknowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospitaloperationsExpertise in safe and low-stress animal restrainttechniquesProficiency in various sample collection methods,including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimensExperience inradiographic positioning and image capture, with additional skillsin dental radiography being a plusExperience in anesthesiaadministration and surgical monitoringCommitment to professionalethics and continuous learningAbility to work in a fast-pacedenvironment with exposure to animal-related hazardsThe idealcandidate will possess a combination of technical expertise andunwavering commitment to animal welfare in a dynamic veterinarysetting.
