Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians with animal exams, surgeries, and other medical procedures Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians Perform diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and radiography Educate clients on animal care, nutrition, and disease prevention Monitor patients during and after medical procedures and report any changes in their condition Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
Experience working in a vet office or clinic preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to build a positive culture Experience with surgical preparation and anesthesia monitoring would be a plus This position can be highly physical so the ability to lift, stoop, bend and carry up to 50 pounds is a must.

$12.00 – $15.00 per hour
