This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, understands the competitive dynamics of retail, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver great customer experiences, grow account revenue, and ensure that clients receive the right solutions at the right time. You’ll play a vital role in driving account performance while supporting long-term business success. What You’ll Do Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned retail customers and distributors Work with clients to understand their business needs and match them with appropriate solutions Support the development and execution of sales plans to meet revenue goals Conduct regular account check-ins, business reviews, and performance updates Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., product, merchandising, logistics) to ensure smooth service delivery Monitor stock levels, identify gaps or supply issues, and collaborate with purchasing teams to resolve them Travel to customer sites across the U.S. to build rapport, strengthen partnerships, and identify new opportunities Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform your account strategies Gather and share customer feedback to help guide product improvements and innovation Use sales data and KPIs to track account performance, prepare reports, and make informed recommendations Present proposals, sales updates, and strategic ideas to both clients and internal leadership What You Bring Postsecondary education in Business, Sales, or a related field—or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in retail or building materials Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first approach Comfortable analyzing performance data and using it to drive decisions Experience with sales reporting and CRM tools Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Willingness to travel as needed to support client relationships and business development If you’re an energetic and resourceful professional who enjoys building relationships and driving results, we’d love to hear from you.
