Location:
Based in Birmingham, AL (Must be able to travel extensively throughout the United States and Canada) Reporting directly to the Sales Director on a Team of 5 Sales Professionals, your responsibilities will be: Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients, emerging trends, and opportunities for sales growth in assigned market verticals. Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market reach and drive revenue growth, focusing on both new accounts and key existing clients. Generate sales leads and inquiries through client visits, phone calls, and industry networking, successfully converting these into new customer accounts. Build, manage, and grow relationships with key accounts, particularly high-value clients, to ensure satisfaction and establish long-term partnerships. Actively maintain and develop existing customer accounts in the plastic industry and other relevant sectors, supporting business retention and loyalty. Conduct regular visits to client sites and attend industry events to represent the Extruflex brand. Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to client needs. Provide client onboarding and after-sales support to ensure smooth transitions and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal teams (R D, marketing, and customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery, cohesive strategies and customer satisfaction. Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to the management team for strategic insights.
Requirements:
5-10 years of proven success in B2B sales, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sectors. Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth. Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a customer-oriented approach. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field Must be willing to travel extensively, averaging 36 to 48 nights per year away from home. Must be able to travel outside of the United States Experience in the plastics or refrigeration industry is a plus Experience and success in Enterprise Level Sales is a significant benefit in this role
