You will be leading the day-to-day accounting and financial oversight for a diverse portfolio of multifamily and condominium assets.
Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle accounting for multiple residential properties, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, bank reconciliations, and supporting schedules Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely processing of invoices and rent collections Monitor and reconcile operating and reserve accounts, capital expenditure tracking Coordinate condo association dues, assessments, and board-level financial reports Assist with budget preparation, variance analysis, and reforecasting Support year-end audits and prepare schedules for external CPA firm Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
5+ years of accounting experience in real estate, property management, or related field Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar) Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas Experience managing multiple entities and property types (HOAs/COAs a plus) Familiarity with audit processes and capital reserve management
