Senior Technology Specialist Able to reside in Fl, GA, NC or SC
- Position Summary
- The primary responsibility of this role is to retain and grow sales revenue within an assigned account base while driving new market share within the Federal vertical, including both Department of Defense and Civilian agencies.
- Job Duties and Responsibilities
- + Provide product information and consultative solutions to customers within an assigned federal territory, including conducting business analyses and developing tailored proposals and value propositions.
+ Lead post-sale delivery and implementation of Ricoh solutions, serving as the primary point of contact for all sales documentation and coordination. + Proactively develop new customer relationships, review leads, and participate in strategic planning to deliver customized Ricoh solutions. + Engage in strategic account planning, identifying at-risk customers and developing action plans to retain and grow business. + Consistently meet or exceed revenue and gross profit targets. + Coordinate cross-functional sales activities and manage internal team processes. + Represent Ricoh at off-site customer meetings and promotional events. + Maintain accurate records of all account activity in the sales database. + Identify key contacts within accounts and conduct strategic outreach. + Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and support. + Perform other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
- + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. + Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B sales experience, including at least 2 years of experience selling to Federal Department of Defense and Civilian organizations.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- + Deep understanding of sales methodologies and processes within a matrixed federal environment.
+ Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills tailored to federal clients. + Excellent interpersonal, time management, and self-motivation skills. + Demonstrated business acumen and leadership capabilities. + Proven ability to lead or collaborate with diverse teams to develop account strategies. + In-depth knowledge of industry products and services. + Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships across business functions. + Skilled in analyzing complex data to identify issues and propose effective solutions. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands
- + Primarily office-based with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels.
+ Work is mostly sedentary but may involve walking, standing, bending, and lifting objects under 10 lbs. + Requires moderate manual dexterity for tasks such as typing and using office tools. + Daily travel to customer sites is required; some locations may not be accessible via public transportation.
