Junior Account Executive Colen Built Development/On Top of the World 8445 SW 80th Street, Ocala, FL 34481 Job Description/Overview The Junior Account Executive (JAE) ensures that all office administrative tasks are handled efficiently. This includes managing office organization, ensuring all office and printing supplies are fully stocked, and submitting maintenance requests for printers and office equipment. The JAE is also responsible for coordinating office birthday celebrations and maintaining an updated birthday wall to help foster a positive and engaging workplace culture. Furthermore, the JAE assists the Marketing Manager with organizing team-building initiatives. In addition to these office tasks, the JAE also oversees creative design jobs, ensuring timely delivery by overseeing daily workflow and acting as a liaison for designated departments and entities within Colen Built Development and related entities. This position requires exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, a strong ability to craft compelling content and excellent organizational and time management capabilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following statements outline the primary functions of this position and the scope of responsibilities, but they should not be considered a comprehensive list of job requirements. Ensures efficient management of all office administrative tasks, including office organization, full stocking of office and printing supplies, and submission of maintenance requests for printers and office equipment. Coordinates office birthday celebrations and maintains an updated birthday wall to help foster a positive and engaging workplace culture. Assists the Marketing Manager with organizing team-building initiatives. Attends and assists with all marketing-related functions, including model grand openings, various internal and external events, future community site visits, and company functions, as directed by the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and Marketing Manager. Collaborates with assigned entities to create and produce advertising materials that effectively promote and grow their business, driving new and continuous customer traffic. Facilitate and manage monthly marketing meetings with assigned entities. Facilitate and manage monthly marketing meetings with assigned entities. Serves as a liaison between entities and external vendors, such as media outlets, radio stations, newspapers, magazines, etc. Background in marketing, or at minimum, possess excellent written skills to write press releases, social media, blog posts, etc. Works in the Marketing Department to address departmental needs regarding daily workflow, including providing input to outside agencies for creating materials, proofreading materials for accuracy, distributing for approval, monitoring edits, and ensuring all jobs are completed for final delivery. Facilitate and manage monthly marketing meetings with assigned entities. Responsible for integrating marketing communications efforts for newly developed entities’ offerings into social media; determine opportunities to improve new and existing social media channels to establish “followers,” facilitate branding, and drive new business. Responsible for developing and programming all social media monthly postings for assigned entities. Continually assess our social media customer experience to ensure that it meets the needs of our target consumers and communicates in the voice of each assigned entity’s brand. Develop customer management strategies to engage, service, and deepen customer relationships on social media platforms. Collaborates with the Strategic Partnership Executive on all public relations initiatives. Determine success metrics and assess the effectiveness of social media marketing initiatives and investments. Influence investment decision-makers with formal recommendations and informal networking. Maintain comprehensive, accurate media lists, editorial calendars, and speaking opportunity lists. Handle daily media monitoring and produce regular reports on media coverage and social media activity. Collaborate with department/entity managers and others to respond to social media questions and comments. Orders collateral materials, including business cards, for assigned entities. Logs Marketing Request Forms (MRFs) for new and recurring job requests into Function Point for all entity-related requests. Distribute flyers and other printed and digital materials to relevant entities as required. Maintains printing, vendor, and miscellaneous files for designated entities. Assists in preparing signs and closure notices in-house for assigned entities if required, including holidays. Assists the World News Editor in creating entity ads for the in-house newspaper and writes articles for the newspaper as directed. Archives assigned entity jobs regularly. Maintains a willingness to assume new responsibilities and embrace opportunities as they may arise. Responsible for meeting deadlines for timely delivery of jobs. Meets deadlines and prioritizes responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Informs management of any changes, potential problems, or outstanding issues. Collaborates with team members within the department and companywide. Represents the company in a professional manner across various environments. Cross-trains for responsibilities within the marketing organizational structure, as needed. Presents self professionally and displays discretion at all times. Performs all duties in adherence to CBD standards. Aims to ensure a safe working environment by preventing accidents, preserving equipment, and promoting safe work practices. Maintains a positive and professional attitude towards all residents, visitors, and colleagues. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Technical Skills)

Education and Experience:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required or working towards it. Previous experience in a marketing-related field is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

Must possess reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English, exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities, and a strong capacity to create, edit, and proofread engaging and persuasive copy. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred but not required. PC proficiency is essential. Microsoft Office skills, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, are required, as is proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Apple skills are preferred but not required. Canva skills are preferred but not required. The ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
