Miami Position Summary:

The Account Manager Charter & Incentive Services represents Silversea Cruises within the Corporate Meetings and Incentive markets The Senior Account Executive is responsible for the “planning” of all corporate and incentive groups and charters The Senior Account Executive works closely with the main planning contact to prepare the “event order” a detailed description of all onboard needs This includes preparation communication and evaluation of all requirements between the main point of contact and the vessel Silversea Cruises Job Description – 12-0224 Page 2 Silversea may add to or change this job description at the company’s discretion This description is not intended to establish a total definition of the job but an outline of job duties This job description does not constitute a contract of employment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for the administration and planning of corporate groups and charters Works closely with Sales Directors to address pre-sale needs Maintains program files once they are turned over from Sales Directors Conducts introduction call and sends planning kit Works with planning contact to schedule onboard events including pre-conference receptions/meetings room deliveries etc Works closely with Hotel Operations Food & Beverage Marine Operations and other internal departments to facilitate group needs Plan and develop programs event orders agendas budgets and services according to customer requirements Coordinate services for events such as accommodation and transportation for participants facilities catering signage displays special needs requirements printing and event security Communicates group and charter needs to the vessel Conducts post conference review Accompanies charters (as needed) onboard the vessel in order to overlook and assist with event needs Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws satisfaction of participants and resolution of any problems that arise Review event bills for accuracy and approve payment Arrange the availability of audio-visual equipment transportation displays and other event needs Inspect event facilities to ensure that they conform to customer requirements Maintain records of event aspects including financial details Conduct post-event evaluations to determine how future events could be improved Evaluate and select providers of services according to customer requirements Read trade publications attend seminars and consult with other meeting professionals to keep abreast of meeting management standards and trends Conduct site inspections for the contracted vessel or contracted itinerary as needed

Qualifications Knowledge and Skills:

Must have a minimum 5 years in the Travel/Hospitality Industry with a strong planning background Excellent verbal communication skills Able to communicate with clients and internal management Able to work independently without supervision Able to take action without requiring additional prompting from management Computer skills including Excel Word Outlook and Windows Based Programs Capable to conduct travel (up to 30% of international travel) Problem solving / analytical skills Knowledge of formulating main objective of the program in order to create curriculum Project completion We know there’s a lot to consider As you go through the application process our recruiters will be glad to provide guidance and more relevant details to answer any additional questions Thank you again for your interest in Royal Caribbean Group We’ll hope to see you onboard soon!
