SUMMARY:
The Transportation Account Executive guides our clients through the entire quoting and binding process by obtaining all documentation needed. Account Executives are responsible for servicing new clients and managing and retaining existing clients while also maintaining valued relationships with our insurance carriers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collects all documentation needed from client for quoting and binding an asset.
Presents assets to several markets,paring quotes to then present the best options to our clients.
Responsible for putting all documentation together and sending the bind order to underwriting.
Follows up to ensure the policy has been bound and no further action is needed.
Responsible for renewals and taking renewals out to market.
Prepares client renewals and new business strategies, including proposals and presentations.
Cross sells clients on other coverages that may be beneficial.
Provides client support with all levels of client’s decision-makers as well as the day-to-day technical client representatives.
Follows up with clients to address their needs and resolve any issues or concerns.
Introduces new products and ensures proper resources availability within the organization for the client.
Attends trainings, courses, meetings, etc. to maintain updated skills.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid Florida Property & Casualty 2-20 license.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience handlingmercial lines accounts.
Prior experience within the Transportation sector is highly preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong technical knowledge of coverage in allmercial lines insurance.
Knowledge ofmercial insurance and products.
Ability to work independently but also assists members of the team.
Ability to always maintain professional manner.
Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel knowledge

Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree)
