We are seeking an experienced Insurance Account Executive for our Commercial Lines Department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and have a focus toward customer service. This position assists Producers in the placement of new and renewal insurance business, with a strong emphasis on client retention and growth.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial insurance
- Experience quoting commercial insurance with multiple carriers
- Ability to multi-task and handle heavy workload with minimal supervision
- Comfort with deadlines
- Must be able to pay close attention to detail and perform well under pressure
- Ability to interact with agency clients in a friendly and professional manner
- Experience with online rating
Preferences:
- An active Property and Casualty (P&C) license
- Professional designations (CIC, CISR, CPCU, ACSR, etc…)
- Knowledge of AMS Software Some of the job responsibilities are as follows:
- Interact with customers in response to inquiries about current or future policies.
- Interact with customers and provide information in response to inquiries about policies as well as service, handle and resolve complaints.
- Memorialize records of customer interactions or transactions.
- Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining/up-dating files and invoicing clients.
- Assist in the coordinating of insurance renewals and policy changes.
- Manage underwriter relationships with various carriers.
- Maintain appropriate system records of service, marketing and policy communications with clients and carriers by documenting files accordingly.
- Maintain policy renewal cycles through effective client communication and follow up.
