Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”) Channel & Alliances Partnerships Executive 70% of small and mid-sized businesses will change hands in the next 2-10 years. 75% of Private Equity portfolios rely on add-on strategies. These two market dynamics are driving significant demand and deal volume for middle-market M&A transactions. General Position Overview:
As a Channels and Alliances Sales Executive you will spearhead strategic partnerships and drive revenue growth by cultivating strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and navigating complex channels to enhance our market presence. This role is ideal for a well-connected channel sales and business development professional with established roots in the professional community. We’re seeking a relationship-driven, results-oriented individual who is eager to break into – or grow within – the M&A and investment banking space. As part of a high-performing, collaborative team at a respected M&A and business advisory firm, you’ll play a key role in driving strategic growth through partnerships and referral networks.
Location/Flexible Work Arrangements:
Align is headquartered in the Orlando, Florida area but serves clients nationwide. Align employs individuals in various states and offers all employees hybrid (primarily remote/virtual) work. We’re currently seeking Partnerships Executive(s) in the Orlando, FL and Jacksonville, FL areas. All Align employees must have reliable transportation and may be expected to travel as part of their roles, with frequency depending on role-specific requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary relationship owner for key referral partners across the US. Recruit, nurture, and manage partner contacts at all levels to facilitate high-quality and consistent referral channels. Develop and execute strategic partner relationship plans to enhance collaboration and lead generation. Gain a deep understanding of partner networks and their specific industry expertise to identify potential synergies. Continuously share knowledge and insights with relevant stakeholders, both internally and externally. Collaborate with the Marketing team to optimize the impact of partner marketing initiatives and ensure alignment with overall strategies. Assist partners in identifying potential M&A opportunities and facilitate connections with our team of expert advisors as necessary. Deliver presentations and collaborate with partners to support our clients throughout the M&A process, ensuring a seamless experience. Proactively promote awareness of Align BA’s M&A expertise within partner organizations to strengthen relationships and referrals. Perform high-level qualification of potential clients both referred from channel and alliance partners and as result of prospecting activities to ensure alignment with our target market and ideal customer profile.? Achieve a minimum sales quota of closed engagements to contribute to the firm’s overall target. Transition relationships to the appropriate sales and or leadership team members opportunities move closer to qualified prospective engagement (level 4 in CRM), ensuring a smooth handover and continued client engagement.?
Position Requirements:
Required:
Substantial experience in a financial/legal services Partner/Alliance/Channel sales environment with a proven track record of success (M&A advisory sector a big plus).
Preferred:
Ability to cultivate long-term relationships within the financial, legal, or private equity sectors. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Curiosity and tenacity, enabling you to uncover new M&A opportunities. Credibility at both executive and operational levels.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Advanced CRM, Excel and PowerPoint Skills The ability to cultivate long-term relationships within the financial/legal services and or private equity sectors. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Initiative and demonstrated ability to manage many responsibilities with little oversight.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a?full-time, exempt position. Annual salary of $80-000-100,000 based on experience, plus competitive bonus outlined in the bonus schedule. Bonus is not capped , so the potential equates to the effort of the Sales Executive.
