Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven SaaS Sales Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This role is perfect for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about selling innovative SaaS solutions. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, while building lasting relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Execution:
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to deal closure Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas Negotiate contract terms and pricing with prospects Collaborate with the CRO on strategic deals and key accounts
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers Understand client needs and pain points to position our solution effectively Conduct discovery calls to identify opportunities for our SaaS platform Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process Work closely with customer success team to ensure smooth handoffs
Sales Strategy and Process:
Utilize CRM system to track all sales activities and maintain accurate records Participate in sales forecasting and pipeline reviews Contribute to the development of sales collateral and processes Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and product updates Provide feedback to product and marketing teams based on client interactions
Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing team to optimize lead generation efforts Partner with customer success to ensure client satisfaction and identify expansion opportunities Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall sales strategy discussions
Required Qualifications:
2-4 years of B2B SaaS sales experience Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas Experience with full-cycle sales processes Strong communication and presentation skills Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Self-motivated with excellent time management skills Bachelor’s degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling to [specific target market/industry] Familiarity with sales methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, etc.) Previous startup experience Understanding of SaaS metrics and business models
