Job Description

  • As a Specialty Pharmacy Solutions Executive, you will be at the forefront of expanding our specialty pharmacy services. This strategic sales role involves identifying, engaging, and closing new business with health systems and hospitals. Whether building specialty pharmacies from scratch or optimizing existing ones, you will drive solutions that enhance performance and value.

Full-Cycle Sales Ownership:
  • Lead the entire sales process from market targeting, lead generation, and opportunity qualification to solution design, proposal delivery, and deal closure. +
  • Strategic Prospecting & Targeting:
  • Conduct market assessments and create strategic account plans for top regional health systems and hospitals. +
  • Value-Based Engagement:
  • Engage with C-suite executives, pharmacy directors, and key stakeholders to uncover challenges, educate on value creation opportunities, and craft customized, ROI-driven solutions. +
  • Pipeline Development & Management:
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using Salesforce CRM and strategic sales methodologies. +
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Deepen relationships with existing clients, identify expansion opportunities, and ensure continued operational success. +
  • Thought Leadership & Industry Visibility:
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences and client events, establishing yourself as a domain expert. +
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with internal teams including clinical, operational, legal, and finance to develop compelling proposals and ensure seamless handoffs from sales to implementation.
  • Qualifications & Competencies:
  • + Proven track record of selling complex healthcare solutions into health systems or hospitals, ideally within pharmacy or specialty pharmacy verticals.

+ Deep understanding of specialty pharmacy workflows, 340B programs, payer dynamics, and clinical operations. + Ability to engage at the executive level with credibility and confidence. + Strong financial and business acumen; comfortable building business cases and articulating ROI. + Experience navigating and closing long-cycle, high-value consultative sales. + Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive independently in a high-growth, high-autonomy environment. + Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and strategic selling frameworks.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • + Prior experience in healthcare sales, selling specialty pharmacy services, 340B-related solutions, or health system consultative offerings. + Background in pharmacy services, pharmacy benefit models, payer strategy, or provider-led care delivery is highly desirable. + Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Work Environment:
  • + Home-based office with up to 60% travel required for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
