Opportunity Overview:
The College Park Skyhawks, NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, are seeking a highly motivated and result oriented individual who is passionate about sales and service to join our team of Account Executives. This position is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of season memberships, partial plans and group ticket packages. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for managing and servicing a dedicated book of current season ticket members to ensure high renewal rates and an exceptional fan experience for all members. This role is designed not only for high performance in sales but also for professional growth. Team members will receive hands-on training, mentorship from leadership, and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities. Our organization is committed to developing talent from within and providing a path for advancement into senior sales, service, and leadership roles within the team. The College Park Skyhawks play home games at Gateway Center Arena located in College Park, GA while primary offices are located in downtown Atlanta.
Responsibilities:
Proactively sell full season memberships, partial plans, and group ticket packages through outbound calls, emails, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
Manage the Skyhawks year-round membership experience and achieve annual retention goals.
Proactively seek opportunities to generate incremental revenue through relationships built with current season ticket members while also providing excellent customer service to our members.
Assist in the planning and execution of member benefits, in-game experiences and service campaigns that lead to strong renewal rates and upgrade campaigns.
Meet or exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales and performance goals.
Generate leads through self-prospecting.
Set and complete out of office appointments that help drive attendance and/or revenue.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales prospecting and client conversations with our CRM system.
Attend networking events and participate in all community ticket sales and/or attendance driving events.
Other related duties as assigned by leadership.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Comfortable with making outbound cold calls.
Strong customer-first mindset with a passion for building relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Must be able to work nights and weekends, flexible schedule(s) and overtime as necessary, including holidays and weekends.
Present yourself in a professional manner and able to interact with all levels of the organization.
Self-motivated with high character, strong work ethic, competitive and have a positive attitude.
Sales-oriented approach with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 1-2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in ticket sales.
