Account Executive- Pizza Expo EMERALDX, Inc 875 Mayfield Rd, Building B, Suite 200, Alpharetta, GA 30009 Overview Emerald is seeking an Account Executive to support its Global Food Group. This position will focus largely on the Pizza Industry. The Account Executive will take an omni-channel approach, providing solutions to our exhibitors and advertisers to create long-lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships. To best compliment our team, the ideal candidate will be a great collaborator, team player and partner. Using a deep understanding of our brands’ offerings and extensive industry insight, the Account Executive will be responsible for driving revenue for live events. This role will build key relationships with their core base of business, increasing the rate of retention and working closely with key team players to identify and develop opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling to meet and exceed annual territory goals. The best candidate for this position will be a self-motivated relationship builder with a strong attention to detail, exceptional follow through, and the ability to solve tough client problems proactively and creatively. Successful candidates should also be highly organized and resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. This position will report to Emerald’s Alpharetta, GA office Specifically, the ideal Account Executive will: Meet and exceed sales goals across applicable revenue streams for represented brand(s). Increase customer retention rates and average deal size for key accounts. Deepen relationships with current customers and prospects. Act on qualified leads, discover customer success criteria and establish Emerald brands’ capability to meet their objectives. Deliver proposals fitting the needs of the customer and securing the closing of contracts. Partner closely with the key team players to identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling that will increase ROI for the customer. Regularly communicating with customers to maintain satisfaction and utilizing internal marketing and/or operations resources where opportunities for improvement arise. Deepen customer value by sourcing additional client touch points within the customer organization. Partner with marketing, content and operations teams to properly educate and inform customers of services and/or products that will benefit their business. Serve as an Emerald subject matter expert in both our products/services and those of competitors to provide the highest level of service and support to customers. Effective use of internal sales tracking systems to monitor growth and performance in designated products and services.
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of sales / business development experience, with a preference for experience selling live events Strong closing skills required Ability to work self-directed and self-motivated to meet and exceed sales development goals Excellent verbal and written skills Computer literate in all aspects of Microsoft office a must Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM required Ability to travel as required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation:
$ 65,000-$70,000 (Sales Incentive Eligible) Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
