The Role:

Molecular Account Executive We’re on the hunt for a confident, self-motivated Molecular Account Executive to help grow our client base and expand our footprint in the Southeast. If you know how to open doors, close deals, and build real relationships—this is your lane. You’ll focus on diagnostic sales across Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, partnering with hospitals, physician groups, women’s health practices, and specialty labs. This is a high-impact role with visibility and room to run. You’ll be on the front lines of expanding Ipsum’s reach while helping shape how we engage new markets. What You’ll Be Doing Own your territory—find opportunities, nurture leads, and close sales with minimal supervision. Strategically target new business while expanding current accounts and retaining clients. Present Ipsum’s testing solutions in a compelling, customized way to key decision-makers—C-suite, clinicians, and lab directors. Identify customer needs and create solutions that make sense for their business and patients. Drive menu expansion and contract renewals to build long-term loyalty. Manage longer sales cycles and navigate complex deals with ease. Collaborate with our internal operations team to ensure client satisfaction and seamless onboarding. Stay agile—solve problems fast, anticipate roadblocks, and take ownership when challenges pop up. What You Bring Bachelor’s degree. 2-5 years of sales experience in diagnostics, molecular testing, medical devices, or healthcare services. You’re tech-savvy—MS Office, CRM tools, and virtual selling are second nature. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50-75% of the time. You’re hungry, humble, and driven—always looking for the next opportunity and ready to act on it. If you’ve got a book of business and strong industry connections, that’s a huge plus. You’ll hit the ground running and have a serious leg up. We’d love to build on the momentum you’ve already created.
