Purpose of the Job The Account Executive is responsiblefor handling quotes and all direct communications with agencies,brokers, and carriers. Additionally, the Account Executive overseesthe management of new and renewal premium finance loans along withother associated business activities. The Account Executive servesas the primary point of contact between the company and itsclients, working to understand client goals and objectives andproposing tailored solutions to meet those needs. The AccountExecutive plays a critical role in expanding the customer base,maximizing account profitability while ensuring high levels ofcustomer satisfaction and retention. Essential Functions andResponsibilities Provides quick and accurate responses to P1Finance’s agency, intermediary and carrier partners. Enters premiumfinance quotes quickly and accurately into the finance software tosend to agencies. Quotes must follow company and state guidelines.
Provides the credit department the necessary documentation andinformation to make fast approval decisions on loans. Communicateswith Management the requested terms from agency partners to obtainapproval for loan requests. Answers incoming calls and fieldquestions from the agency services line. Builds strongrelationships with agency, intermediary and carrier partners viaphone and written communications. Follows up with key contacts atagencies for retaining renewal quotes and new business quotesduring the month of production. Reaches out to new agency prospectsfor initial communication to ultimately bring them on board with P1Finance. Processes electronic payments for agents and insureds.
Provides backup assistance when another member of the AccountExecutive team is out of the office. Assists with social media,email blasts and other marketing aspects as they arise.
Communicates effectively with team members, other departments, andManagement. Provides impeccable service to all customer inquiriesby responding promptly and thoroughly too all requests. Assistsother Account Executives with various daily tasks and quote inputs.
Other Duties and Responsibilities Assists with other tasks andprojects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must haveexcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Should have a goodunderstanding of the business processes at the credit union relatedto premium finance Must be resourceful and well organized, withstrong attention to detail Must have good reasoning abilities andsound judgment Must possess excellent Customer service skills Mustpossess strong problem-solving skills Must be proactive, with asense of urgency Must be able to work in a general officeenvironment Must be team oriented Must be flexible and able toshift resources and priorities as required Must has the ability tomulti-task Must have the ability to adapt quickly and thrive in afast-paced environment Must be self-motivated with a drive to takeinitiative Must have a strong sales aptitude Should becomeknowledgeable of P1 Finance’s best practices, policies, andprocedures while demonstrating a strong commitment to providingexcellent service to P1 borrowers Physical Requirements Occasionalstanding, walking, bending, and stooping required Must be able tosit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer Must beable to moderately lift or move up to 5 pounds and occasionallylift or move up to 10 pounds Education and Background High Schooldiploma or equivalent required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree inBusiness Administration, Sales, Finance, Insurance or related fieldpreferred 2 years of experience in the premium finance industry orsimilar Commercial Lines Property and Casualty insurance experienceat an agency or intermediary required If you have a passion formember service and would like to invest in a meaningful career withopportunity for growth, we encourage you to apply to Truliant!
