We are currently looking for an account executive to be theleading force that fuels our growing client relationships. TheAccount Executive handles day-to-day administrative activities forassigned clients. The AE is expected to become fully familiar withprocess, methods and techniques in which assigned clients operate,in order to efficiently, effectively deal with clients’ DM needs.

You must be a proactive and curious member of our growing team,identifying growth opportunities for clients before they identify aneed for themselves. This level of foresight and meticulousanalysis is what will take our company confidently into the future.

Objectives of this Role Build and maintain lasting relationshipswith clients and partners by understanding focus and needs, andanticipating them in advance Coordinate internal and externalresources to expedite workflow Manage communication between uppermanagement and employees Stay current with company offerings andindustry trends Oversee and achieve organizational goals whileupholding best practices Identifies new business opportunities fromexisting clients. Represents agency at industry functions. Promotesthe agency at every opportunity. Obtains preliminary approval ofbilling to clients Provides daily status sheet Provides month-endoverview of clients’ current activities, plans and futuredevelopments Prepares on-going letter of activities to all projectand retainer clients. End-of-month activities reports must bewritten to all clients, supplemented by conference reports aftereach meeting or telephone conversation that warrants a detailedreport. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Prepares quarterlyDirect Marketing plan and budget for assigned clients. Plan shouldbe updated on a regular basis to ensure goal(s) are being met.

Provides input to Creative, senior management and Media regardingprojects. Coordinates with Account Service personnel to ensure AEsare up-to-date. Oversees execution of approved programs. Informssupervisors immediately of any potential client problems (e.g.,client/agency relations, budget over-expenditures, etc.). Reviewsmeeting agenda with managers prior to client meetings. Preparesconference reports immediately following all meetings. Distributesappropriately. Documents statistics and results, along withcreative samples, reported to AE and end of each project. Skillsand Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or arelated discipline 3 years’ experience in administrative rolereporting directly to upper management Ability to manage multipleaccounts while seeking new opportunities Ability to understandclient needs, and negotiate costs and services Proficiency inMicrosoft Office, with aptitude to learn systems Willingness totravel as needed to meet with clients and prospects Romph & PouAgency We are an established integrated marketing agency withoffices in Shreveport, Louisiana; Tyler, Texas; and Baton Rouge,Louisiana.
