EssentialFunctions
TheHospiceLiaisonorAccountExecutiveisresponsibleforcoordinating≥neratingnewhospicebusinessinbothexistingandnewaccounts,identifyingnewmarketsandmaintainingexistingserviceaswellascoordinatingcareforreferredpatients.
TheHospiceLiaison’sprimaryresponsibilityisservingasaliaisonbetweentheagency,hospitals,medicalcommunityandotherreferralsources.
Thispositioneducatesthecommunityandthemedicalprofession/referralsourcesregardinghospiceservices.
Thispositioninvolvesdailyinteractionwithpatients,medicalprofessionals,otherreferralsources,andthecommunitytoassurecontinuityofcareandtocoordinateappropriatecommunicationanddocumentation.
Thispositionworkscloselywithagencypersonneltoensurethatpatientcareishandledefficientlyandeffectively.
TheHospiceLiaisonisregularlyengagedawayfromtheemployee’splaceofbusinessinperformingtheseduties.
Qualifications
Ahearttoservepatientsandfamiliesandapassionforprovidingthebestpossiblecare
Education:
MinimumofanAssociateDegreerequiredinfieldofstudyorprovenworkexperienceinhealthrelatedfield
Experience:
2yearofsalesexperienceinaclinicalcaresetting,hospicepreferred
Required:
Reliabletransportation.
Abilitytosit,stand,bend,moveintermittentlyandliftatleast25lbsandbeartheweightofanaverageadulteffectively.
