Department OverviewMotorola Solutions Cybersecurity Services (MSI) seeks to hire a highly motivated individual with a passion for cybersecurity sales. Leveraging MSI’s brand and commanding market share in the public safety vertical, this individual will represent the MSI Cybersecurity business line, which includes advisory, managed security services (SOC).Job Description
This role will focus on driving new logos/ARR across public safety agencies and providing Renewal support to expand our Cybersecurity footprint within the current customer base across the entire Northeast and Southeast Regions.
Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships and customer knowledge by understanding the Motorola Solutions business model Work with the customer using the necessary sales tools to develop a robust strategy in order to become a trusted adviser to the customer and partners Grow and expand Motorola Solutions’ market Candidate will learn, develop, and be capable of clearly articulating account specific strategies for all Motorola Solutions Develop and enhance strong customer relationships across multiple levels and functions Allocate appropriate resources, and obtain full collaboration of internal product groups and external partners as necessary to meet the needs of key accounts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of software sales experience OR 5+ years of software sales experience OR public safety sales experience Strong understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud and SaaS technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace Strong fundamental understanding of technical security solutions and how they address customer risk exposure and use cases. Some examples include, but are not limited to: Firewall, Email and Web security, EDR and EPP solutions, NAC, MDM IAM, MFA, SSO, CASB, PAM, Visibility and Analytics, SIEM, Zero Trust Security orchestration and automation (SOAR), Container and Cloud security
IOT / ICS / OT
Security solutions, DevSecOps, XDR Demonstrated experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques Ability to explain complicated concepts to a variety of audiences and skill levels Strong problem solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain swift resolution Accurately forecast, maintaining excellent SFDC hygiene Ability to estimate and manage tasks and deliverables to budget and project milestones
Target Base Salary Range:
