Hospice Sales Account Executive Job Summary:
The Hospice Sales Account Executive is responsible for assisting the Executive Director/Administrator with branch growth, community awareness and contributes to the overall success of the company.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Prior successful sales experience with comparable customers, preferably to Hospitals and/or Nursing Home Knowledgeable in Home Health and Hospice preferred Experience in selling a service Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being an active team player Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess effective communication skills. Must be capable of prioritizing and handing multiple tasks of critical importance and function well in an atmosphere of stress. Possess knowledge of patient care within Home Health or Hospice Associate or Baccalaureate degree preferred. 2-4 Years of previous sales experience in related health field considered
Essential Functions:
Prepare sales plan with Executive Director/Administrator, including forecasts, target accounts, contacts within accounts and budget for achieving objectives Contribute to profitable growth by establishing and maintaining contact and relationships with referral sources through which prospective clients might be reached and influenced Develop and implement marketing plan for Hospice Services Increase awareness of and interest in Hospice by preparing and conducting presentations regarding Hospice to organizations where prospective clients might be reached or influenced Organize and provide education to the community, referral sources and facilities. Demonstrate dependability by adhering to time frames, punctuality and attendance policies. • Responding to customer requests and concerns Developing connections with key referral managers of contracted insurance companies. Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections. Comply with hospice policies and procedures, laws and regulations, standards of practice, and established work rules. Participates in weekly update meetings with Executive Director and biweekly IDG meetings.
