Summary:
We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Account Executive to support our growth in the machine consulting services industry. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their machinery, automation, and operational challenges and offering tailored solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and ROI. The ideal candidate brings sales acumen and a strong grasp of machinery or engineering services.
Essential Functions:
Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with manufacturers, plant managers, facility engineers, maintenance managers, and directors of procurement Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate on behalf of the client Conduct onsite and virtual client meetings to assess needs and present tailored solutions. Work closely with internal teams to deliver accurate proposals and scopes of work. Meet or exceed sales targets related to revenue, lead conversion, and customer retention. Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies Attend industry events, trade shows, vendor events, or site visits as needed to grow business opportunities. Other duties as assigned, in support of business operations and team success
Qualifications:
2-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally mechanical-minded with experience in manufacturing or engineering Understanding of machine systems, automation, or plant operations is strongly preferred. Proven success in consultative or solution-based selling environments. Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable discussing technical specifications and reading blueprints; familiarity with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, to support client conversations.
