Job Overview The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales role at T-Mobile is designedfor ambitious, results-driven sales professionals who arepassionate about building stellar customer relationships andbringing T-Mobile’s unmatched products and services to underservedmarkets. This is a true hunter role that involves meeting and exceedingmonthly sales quota objectives by successfully acquiring newaccounts with small and medium sized businesses (1-299 employees)while developing skills to move your career into the next levelAccount Executive, SMB sales role. You will sell products,services, and solutions to gain new business through prospecting,cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals. Youwill analyze customer needs and use solution-based sellingtechniques to demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products andservices, tailoring customer recommendations to negotiate and closebusiness.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead generation: Generate and work leads in developed andunderdeveloped territories through prospecting, cold calling, andnetworking under sales manager supervision.
Customer needs:
selling to demonstrate T-Mobile’s value.
Recommend wireless solutions, including price plans, data services,handsets, and accessories.
Deal negotiation:
Negotiate and close deals.
Skill development:
Develop skills in prospecting, callexecution, and relationship management with leadership. Participatein product training and sales meetings.
Sales approaches:
Create effective sales approaches, solutions,and proposals.
Sales automation:
Apply sales force automation, manage salesfunnel, and report on sales activities and forecasts.
Education and Work Experience:
High School Diploma/GED (Required) Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience,preferably within a commissioned environment. Preferred Outside B2B sales experience.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Task Management Ability to work well in a dynamic, fastchanging environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking.(Required) Customer Service Demonstrated experience delivering superiorcustomer service and attention to detail. (Required) Communication Excellent interpersonal, written, and oralcommunication skills. (Required) Negotiation Effective negotiating and closing skills, includingcommunication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving.(Required) Cold Calling Ability to cold call/door knock (Preferred) Prospect Management Experience in identifying, nurturing, andguiding potential leads through a journey from initial contact toconversion. (Preferred) CRM Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, leveragingthese tools to manage customer relationships and sales activitiesefficiently. (Preferred) Proposal Writing Experience preparing, delivering, andfollowing-up on product/service proposals and pricing quotations.(Preferred)
