Job Summary:
The successful Mid-Market Account Executive willpossess exemplary professional skills, always considering the bestoutcome for both the Company and the Customer in each situation.
The Mid-Market Account Executive will primarily be responsible forquota-driven, new revenue generation, with a secondary focus onexisting base management for the company. This will be achievedthrough the successful selling of products including, but notlimited to, Fiber access and transport, voice, local, longdistance, MPLS, private line, broadband, high-speed internet, VoIP,video, network management, managed network services, securitysolutions (i.e., firewall, SEIM, etc.), and cloud solutions (i.e.,DRaaS, BaaS, IaaS, etc.).The Mid-Market Account Executive willprimarily focus on ‘new logo’ mid-sized enterprise accounts thathave a ‘full potential’ wallet of approximately
- $2•10k MRC.
These customers will typically be multi-location (10 or less) smallto large-sized
- 10•250 employee) businesses, with primary focuson enterprises between 50•250 employees.
Mid-Market AccountExecutives will also be allowed to retain select key customeraccounts at any given time instead of these accounts being shiftedto account management. These accounts will be reviewed on an annualbasis with regional sales management to determine if/when theyshould be moved to an account manager.
Duties ℜsponsibilities: Develop proposals using the full suite of Segra products to winnew customers in Segra Markets, positioning against ILECS, MSOs,and other CLEC providers. Responsible for a new revenue quota each month. Use a customer relationship management front-end to managesales opportunities and provide appropriate reporting andforecasting of activity. Maintain mid-sized customer relationships with a select numberof existing assigned Segra customers for services in marketterritory to be re-evaluated on an annual basis. Investigate andresolve any problems, and position additional products within theaccount. Submit accurate customer contracts using the Wizard system orother CRM to Sales Engineering or Customer Care organization forthe provisioning of products. Coordinate with customer and SalesEngineering resources to ensure expected due dates for productdelivery are communicated and appropriate customer personnel remainupdated.
Qualifications:
Education:
Degree in sales/marketing or related field,equivalent work experience, or a combination thereof.
Experience:
Previous Enterprise level, ILEC-CLEC salesexperience and/or managed services experience preferred. 5+ yearsof telecommunications sales or technology sales experiencespecifically including sales of products such as core connectivity,extended connectivity, storage and cloud services, and/or securitysolutions.
