About the role:
As a Director ofStrategic Accounts at Motive, you are responsible for developingand closing business with Motive’s largest prospects. You will sellinto the most impactful companies in North America that power thephysical economy, the majority being in the Fortune 500. We areseizing the opportunity created by our strong product positioningand pushing up market. You will lead the charge, selling the valueof our products and the business outcomes that can be achieved inpartnership with Motive. Our Directors of Strategic Accounts sellacross multiple industries, including trucking, oil & gas,construction, agriculture, manufacturing, consumer transit, or anyother business that requires a fleet of vehicles. Because of thecollaborative nature of our Go-to-Market team, a win-as-a-teammentality is a must. In this high-energy role, you should becomfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high standardsof quality. What you’ll do: Prospect and win new Strategic businessthrough developing key C-Suite and executive relationships withinkey prospects to drive expansion of that business with all keyaccounts Develop champions within our prospects to ensure RFP winsand grow contractual-based business Partner with the balance ofyour internal account team at Motive and leverage customeranalytics and other available resources to optimize buyingdecisions to increase the perceived value of Motive Resolveproblems, including identifying issues, thinking critically todetermine the optimal course of action, and implementing bestavailable solutions Work with technical resources to display toprospects the power of integrations & how our partner ecosystemincreases the value of our hardware and software Effectively planto meet and exceed your ongoing business goals and revenue quotasDevelop a deep understanding of our technology platform andoperations, using that understanding and market input to bring backiterations to our business Constantly study and deepenunderstanding of market trends to enable consultative insight
Aboutyou:
You have deep Enterprise sales experience partnering with F500or F1000 clients 7 years of SaaS or industry relevant Enterprisefield sales experience required You show a strong track record ofexceeding quotas and rapidly growing your book over time backed upby data You have an ability to build rapport with C-suite &executive decision-makers, influencing outcomes through both anunderstanding of the customer’s business and the unique solutionsthat Motive can deliver You show a history of working independentlywith a data-driven mindset for charting a path to short, medium,and long-term sales goals You have best-in-class communicationskills, with the ability to successfully convey key valuepropositions and quickly manage objections This role will becovering accounts in the Eastern U.S. so we are considering onlycandidates that live on the East Coast for this particularposition. Pay Transparency Your compensation may be based onseveral factors, including education, work experience, andcertifications. For certain roles, total compensation may includerestricted stock units. Motive offers benefits including health,pharmacy, optical and dental care benefits, paid time off, sicktime off, short term and long term disability coverage, lifeinsurance as well as 401k contribution (all benefits are subject toeligibility requirements). The on-target earnings (base paycommissions) for this role: $320,000
