WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Account Executive is a full-time position responsible for prospecting new business, building a robust pipeline, cultivating relationships, and utilizing a consultative sales approach to close sales. The Account Executive will hold themselves accountable to continuously learn and grow, while: Building a strong pipeline through effective lead generation and prospecting techniques.
Prospect small-to-medium sized businesses in the market area by conducting meetings, setting goals, and implementing weekly prospecting behaviors.
Evaluating prospects’ business needs to suggest appropriate advertising packages.
Cultivating relationships with business owners and senior executives through face-to-face meetings and written communication.
Collecting clients’ accounts receivable and updating the system regularly. Maintaining relationships with the production department to ensure timely delivery for all Qualifications
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
Two years of sales experience, with some media sales is preferred
Proficient in interpersonal skills, including both written and oral communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
Team player with a positive attitude, who welcomes coaching and mentoring
PAY:
Salary and commission
SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
