This individual would be responsible for soliciting new deposit business from HOA Management Companies and securing HOA loans. Individual would gather initial documents and information, calls the references, presenting the loan requests to credit officer, and conducts outreach to bring HOA Management Company deposits to First Century Bank, N.A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Build and maintain appropriate working relationships with Management Companies, National HOA community and other resources to cultivate contacts for management companies that may be open to moving financial banking relationship or generating HOA loans. Keeps open communications with industry resources to be informed of new, in-market financing opportunities. Gather required information from Management Company requesting loans from the Bank. Collecting set of prequalification documentation from the association. Work closely with the credit officer to collect additional information when required. Individual will act as the liaison between the management company, the association and the bank through closing. Assist Credit Officer in the preparation of the loan application write up. Work with Credit Officer, loan operations department, and ACH departments to ensure repayment is appropriately established. Maintain on-going and detailed knowledge of current FCB policies, procedures, and changes for HOA lending consistent with State and Federal Regulations. Knowledge of expense management procedures is also required. If appropriate, work with Credit officer to coordinate with participant banks on loan participations including ensuring that appropriate documentation and information is provided to ensure appropriate completion of the loan participation process.
Portfolio Management:
Regularly review portfolio and ensure appropriate maintenance of the relationship and servicing of existing deposit and loan portfolio. This would include regular contact with customers, addressing exception items, obtaining documentation, renewal/extension processing, past dues, and overdrafts. Ensures active management of existing portfolio including obtaining appropriate inspections, ensuring the bank’s projects are progressing as planned and maintaining an active understanding of the market. Works through loan exception reporting and past due accounts. Territory Management and Development – Community Association Industry Identify, target and develop relationships with management companies and large managed community associations within the determined territory. Ensure active participation in professional association and events such as trade shows in the territory. Individual will be responsible for growing deposits within the designated territory including both operating and reserve accounts. Act as liaison to internal departments to gather required documentation and facilitate account opening. Performs such other duties as may be assigned or which inherently or logically belong with the position. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree; and five or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
