Oversee and provide quality service to key accounts
Analyze all accounts and contracts within established territory and work with management to develop strategies to drive growth and profitability
Penetrate assigned accounts to expand market share
Maintain Company customer contact database
Provide exceptional service to assigned customers by leveraging strong planning and organizational skills
Prepare and deliver presentations on topics including current product knowledge and application, safety and ergonomics and operational effectiveness
Make regular contacts with customers to ensure that the following services are consistently provided:
Negotiate ethically on price and terms and conditions, consistent with established business unit values and strategies; work with Contract Administration to ensure compliance
Leverage solutioneering capabilities to address customer issues
Create accurate quotes, generate orders, provide information using various systems
Manage consigned inventory levels within established parameters
Monitor Accounts Receivables in accordance with established Company guidelines; may need to assist in collecting on past-due accounts
Prepare requisite reporting (call reports, trip reports, expense reports, customer call documentation etc.) as required or directed by the manager
Perform all other duties as assigned by management Bachelors degree preferred or minimum of 5+ years of outside sales and successful management of large and/or key accounts
Demonstrated success in managing increased responsibility and achieving required goals
Strong understanding of sales strategy and the ability to implement territory management
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Impeccable personal presentation; ability to present effectively and appropriately both internally & externally, to all levels in an organization
Must hold all credentials or requirements needed for assigned customer accounts
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Must possess a valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record
Knowledge of industrial tool market, a plus
