ABOUT THE ROLE

The Market Manager is an individual contributor role with territorymanagement and technical responsibilities. The overallresponsibilities of this role are to: Develop and sustain aBusiness Strategy designed to gain or protect market share Providebasic technical service to Holcim customers in territory Lead theterritory Marketing and Sales efforts within the Business UnitMonitor the quality and performance of Holcim and competitiveproducts in the territory. Position involves travel as needed tomeet with customers and attend business unit and districtmeetings.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving andadhering to safety policies in all work environments andareas. Creates clear business strategy for key accounts (e.g. increaseshare, account penetration, protect existing base, etc.) Develops, maintains and strengthens customer relationships Develops revenue and product goals which are time-bound,realistic and achievable Understands how to deliver value to customers (PerformanceInnovations if applicable) and uses value selling strategies Develops plans to maximize potential of accounts, and efficientuse of time; uses good account management practices Provides technical assistance and utilizes resources as neededto satisfy basic product and customer issues Resolves basic customer product and technical problems Gathers territory intelligence on all market products andcreates a realistic succession pipeline of customers that can besold if other volumes are lost Tracking and management of major sales opportunities as theyprogress through the selling process

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education:

Bachelors degree or 3 years equivalent experience

Field of Study Preferred:

Business, Engineering, or equivalentdegree

Required Work Experience:

3-5 years in the constructionmaterials industry

Required Computer and Software Skills:

Google suite,

SAP,Salesforce, Qlikview Travel Requirements:

10-15%

Additional Requirements:

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols andproper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment(“PPE”), including but not limited to respirators. Employees thatare required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where therespirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative andquantitative fit tests.
