Job Summary The Physician Liaison I supports hospital initiatives by fostering relationships with providers, aligning market strategies, and driving service line growth. This role collaborates with hospital leadership, service line teams, and outreach staff to enhance access to care, promote provider engagement, and address barriers to satisfaction. Through strategic outreach and data-driven insights, the Physician Liaison contributes to achieving organizational growth objectives and improving the overall healthcare delivery experience. Essential Functions Builds and maintains relationships with providers, serving as the primary point of contact to support engagement and alignment with hospital goals. Collaborates with hospital leadership to plan and execute strategic service line growth initiatives, leveraging data to identify opportunities and track progress. Develops and manages outreach activity plans, provider targeting strategies, and KPI tracking in alignment with market objectives. Conducts outreach to providers, including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, EMS agencies, and post-acute care facilities, to promote collaboration and identify opportunities for growth. Ensures timely documentation of provider interactions, feedback, and barriers in the Provider Relationship Management (PRM) system for tracking and reporting purposes. Participates in regular growth meetings with Physician Practice Services (PPS), Accountable Care Organization (ACO) teams, and service line leaders to address provider engagement, service delivery challenges, and growth opportunities. Provides insights to hospital leadership regarding provider preferences, service line trends, and opportunities for operational improvements based on data analysis and outreach activities. Collaborates with Regional/Market Directors of Provider Relations to ensure alignment on growth strategies, share best practices, and address regional trends. Supports hospital leadership in reviewing and adjusting growth and expansion plans to align with market dynamics and provider needs. Represents the hospital in market, regional, and corporate Provider Relations meetings to support alignment, training, and professional development. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration preferred 3-5 years of experience in healthcare outreach, provider relations, or business development required 1-3 years of healthcare sales experience requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong knowledge of provider relations, healthcare outreach, and service line development. Analytical skills to interpret data, track KPIs, and identify actionable opportunities for growth. Effective communication and relationship-building skills to engage providers and collaborate with hospital leadership. Proficiency in Provider Relationship Management (PRM) systems or similar tools for documentation and reporting. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing organizational needs.,
