Job Description

Logistics Account Manager Pickett Logistics an Agent for Greatwide American Trans-Freight Jacksonville, FL 32258 We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing old and new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate is a proactive and driven professional with a strong understanding of customer needs and a deep knowledge of the trucking and logistics industry. A proven track record of driving sales performance is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting & Lead Generation:

Proactively identify and target established and potential clients through market research, networking, and cold outreach to build a robust sales pipeline.

Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Negotiation & Deal Closure:

Negotiate with established and developing customers to secure profitable rates and ensure customer satisfaction.

Reporting & CRM Management:

Accurately document sales activities, client communications, and forecasts in the system to support transparency and strategic planning.

Client Follow-Up:

Diligently follow up on leads, quotes, and proposals to maximize conversion rates and close new business opportunities.

Qualifications:
Industry Experience:

Minimum of 2 years in sales, preferably within the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Proven Track Record:

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth in the logistics and transportation space.

Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of trucking, freight, and logistics operations, or a strong willingness and ability to quickly gain industry expertise.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Skilled at identifying customer challenges, developing effective solutions, and continuously enhancing the client experience.
