Requirements:
Manage a book of Insurance business. Devise creative solutions to meet client needs concerning coverage and cost. Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment on significant accounts including but not limited to: Negotiation of product pricing. Interviewing clients. Collecting and analyzing information regarding the client and assisting in product and pricing determinations. Affecting, interpreting, and implementing various company policies regarding specific and factual circumstances of each client. Assist producers with cross-selling personal lines to commercial agents. Handle all new VIP accounts. Negotiate with underwriters, quotes, participate in outside sales seminars, and is the carrier liaison. All other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA): Ability to use discretion and independent judgement to conceptualize and implement solutions to meet clients’ needs concerning coverage and costs. Collect and analyze client information. Interact with clients in a timely, proficient, and professional manner. Assist producers with new and existing client needs. Achieve established sales goals. Provide marketing expertise. Provide networking opportunities. Experience with a niche customer base and/or large book of business. Insurance sales experience. Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Required:
Active property and casualty license. 2+ years of recent experience using
AMS360. 2 – 9
years of personal lines insurance agency/brokerage experience. 2+ years of experience cross-selling and up-selling. PC Proficiency, including
MS Office:
Outlook, Word, Excel. High school diploma or GED.
