Each Account Manager will handle a group of producers. They must be a self-starter who is a flexible, independent thinker. The Account Manager must establish and secure an excellent relationship with the producer by being proactive, problem-solving, and identifying & tailoring the communication style for their producers.

Work Location:

Tampa, Florida; hybrid work schedule is possible for qualified candidates

Duties and Responsibilities:

Processing New Business Applications for Life Insurance and other lines of business, including electronic platform submissions. Review new applications for completeness, ensuring underwriting requirements have been received or are on order. Communicate and build relationships with producers, carrier staff, vendors, and co-workers. Always providing exceptional customer service. Handle phone calls and written correspondence with the underwriters, and underwriting support staff at the different insurance companies. Maintain Salesforce database with up to date status; be consistent with follow-ups to carriers, vendors, and/or producers and include full documentation of all updates. Review medical information submitted with preliminary inquiries Create basic cover letters to be sent with the inquiries Skills required : Possess and display a passion for getting the job done. Commitment to individual and company success. Ability to successfully establish and maintain professional relationships with management, company vendors, clients, customers, etc. Ability to adapt and respond effectively to changes within the work group’s procedures. Possesses excellent friendly outgoing professional demeanor. Excellent organization and communication skills. The capacity to successfully work and perform in high-volume and high-pressure situations Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new computer applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist in resolving issues and meeting Company goals and objectives

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree 1-2 years of previous experience desirable Life and Health License preferred or if not licensed, the ability to get licensed after hiring
