Full-time What You’ll Do As a Sales Manager, you will be a key leader driving performance, growth, and customer success.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Leading and supervising a team of 5+ logistics professionals Acting as the primary liaison for key customers and partners Tracking and improving team performance through KPI management Overseeing freight brokerage operations and supporting daily load movement Developing and maintaining customer relationships to grow revenue Responding to bids, RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs with a competitive, data-driven approach Supporting business development and sales initiatives Qualifications 2+ years of management experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or 3PL 2+ years of freight brokerage or third-party logistics experience (preferred) 2+ years in customer service or sales roles (preferred) Demonstrated success in bidding, quoting, and contract award processes Proven track record of achieving revenue and volume targets Strong understanding of load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) Experience with TMS and EDI systems Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a growing team Key Skills Leadership & Team Management Freight Brokerage & Sales Acumen Communication & Customer Service Project & Performance Management Problem Solving & Decision Making Time Management & Organization KPI Tracking & Compliance Collaborative Mindset Why Superior Freight?
