POSITION
Key Account Manager•Foodservice (Florida•REMOTE)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a driven and strategic Key Account Manager to expand our presence across Florida’s foodservice sector. This role will involve close collaboration with Sysco account managers and senior merchandisers at Florida-based Sysco depots to introduce and grow placement of our premium products in restaurants, hotels, and cafés.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead outreach to qualified foodservice prospects identified by KAM, establishing strong relationships to drive product adoption. Serve as the primary liaison for key accounts, effectively communicating the value of our product offerings and identifying growth opportunities. Develop and execute strategic account plans to optimize revenue, profitability, and long-term customer satisfaction. Work cross-functionally with internal teams—including sales, marketing, and product development—to ensure exceptional service and tailored solutions. Deliver regular reports on account performance, market trends, and sales forecasts to senior leadership. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to generate new business and increase brand visibility.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience working with or for major Florida broadlines such as Sysco, Cheney Brothers, or US Foods. Previous experience in the gelato or specialty dessert industry is preferred; product training will be provided. Sales experience with key competitors (e.g., GS Gelato, Villa Dolce) is a plus. Ability to work independently from a home-based office, reporting regularly to the President; remote administrative support provided. Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel frequently across Florida and occasionally within the U.S. for trade shows and events. Company vehicle provided. Proficiency with industry-specific sales technology. Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, food service, or a related field preferred. 5-7 years of outside sales experience, preferably in foodservice or
