Logistics Account Manager AFC Transport 1120 East Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33602

Overview:

The Account Manager owns the growth and retention of a portfolio of freight customers. This role is about building genuine relationships, solving problems quickly, and driving consistent volume. You’ll be the direct line between the customer and our internal teams—making decisions, communicating expectations, and spotting opportunities others miss. This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. You’ll need grit, urgency, and a sharp eye for detail.

What You’ll Do:

Grow and manage a book of business through daily outreach, problem-solving, and strategic conversations Build strong relationships with customers and act as their go-to for everything from quoting to issue resolution Work cross-functionally with Fleet Managers and Carrier Sales to ensure freight is executed correctly and efficiently Identify opportunities for additional lanes, volume, and solutions Monitor and meet KPIs like revenue growth, load accuracy, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction Be proactive with issues—spot them early, communicate often, and follow through Lead account reviews, track performance, and pitch new ideas to add value What Makes You Great in
