Are youan experienced Oncology Sales Professional looking to be part of aninnovative, dynamic and growing organization? GSK’s US Oncologyteam is looking for an Oncology Account Manager to manage the salesand business activities within a defined geographical businessarea. Key to this position is the ability to drive sales, leveragecustomer relationships and impact a variety of customer segments.

This includes the design and implementation of business plansintended to increase revenue from targeted customers based uponstrategic business analysis. You will understand and leverage rolesand responsibilities of the cross functional team to drive salesresults. These partners include Marketing, Medical Affairs, MarketAccess and Commercial Operations. Ideal candidates will have a deepknowledge of customers and accounts within Oncology, as well as thelocal dynamics that influence business in their area.

This rolewill provide/gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities toprogress YOUR career. Accountable for driving area sales results and ensuring openpatient access to GSK therapies. Develop and execute area business plans. Identify and apply resources to the development of keyprescribers/key account drivers within area. Engage proactively with key customers and account groups toensure the promotion of both GSK therapies and company image. Work cross functionally to maximize brand availability andexposure within key accounts. Work collaboratively with team and Regional Sales Director toensure successful launch and/or ongoing promotion of brandedproducts. Engage with Regional Sales Director and cross functionalpartners on the development of programs and activities that willresult in increased access to customersWhy you?

Basic Qualifications 4-year BA/BS degree from an accredited institution 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, Biologic/Specialtysales experience and/or 3+ years Clinical Oncology experience,Oncology education, patient care skills, and direct physicianinterface. Valid Driver’s License

  • Must be able to drive or operate avehicle
  • driving is an essential function of this role.

Must live in geography, no relocation assistance.

PreferredQualificationsIf you have the following characteristics, it wouldbe a plus: 2+ years of Oncology sales, Hematology preferred and/orSpecialty sales experience, Health System/Institutional experienceis a strong preference. Product marketing, specialty pharmacy, payer and state societyexperience a plus Strong organizational skills in order to maintain a high levelof productivity, innovation and priority-setting in order tocomplete assignments on-time and on-budget Proven ability to think strategically and work with a highlevel of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
