Job Description

Guided by our values of integrity, respect, and excellence, we are seeking a dynamic Community Education Liaison to expand our reach and foster meaningful partnerships with healthcare providers and community organizations.

What You’ll Do:

As a Community Education Liaison, you will: Build and nurture relationships with physicians, case managers, and healthcare providers to drive qualified referrals and admissions. Represent Big Bend Hospice at community events, health fairs, and professional networking opportunities to enhance brand awareness. Collaborate with the Director of Access and Growth to analyze market trends, develop business plans, and optimize territory coverage. Use CRM tools to track interactions, report progress, and inform strategic decisions. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and providers, assessing eligibility, explaining hospice care, and coordinating admissions. Provide clinical education and in-services to healthcare providers in collaboration with the business development team. Support BBH’s mission by maintaining accurate documentation and participating in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience:

BA/BS in public relations, communications, or related field, OR a minimum of 4 years’ experience in marketing, public relations, or healthcare.

Skills & Abilities:

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently as part of a team. Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Requirements:

Valid Florida driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and navigate organizational facilities.
