Job Description

Client Coordinator Hands on Behavior Orlando, FL 32817 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Coordinator to join our team. The Client Services Coordinator is the first approach families receive from our practice. Your role is to clearly outline our services and lead the process from the initial phone call to the scheduling of services while delivering the highest possible excellence in customer service standards. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our clients and the services we provide, ensuring that each client receives the highest level of care and support. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly those with autism, and will be knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations and patient care practices.

Responsibilities Phone calls:

Answering calls, routing accordingly, and logging notes of incoming inquiries

Emails:

Answering emails in a timely manner Patient intake: Handling new patient referrals, verifying insurance coverage, obtaining necessary documentation, and ensuring referrals are handled accurately and urgently Patient registration: Registering new patients, updating patient demographics, and completing patient registration forms Patient information: Maintaining patient accounts, obtaining and recording personal and financial information, and ensuring proper documentation and filing of patient information Client support: Providing friendly, accurate, and timely client support Team coordination: Assigning therapists to cases. Following up with caregivers and therapist about any changes or support needed.

Follow up:

Following up with clients to secure all necessary documentation Administrative tasks: Assisting with administrative tasks, data entry

Confidentiality:

Keeping all information confidential. Adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations Among others Qualifications Strong communication skills; verbal and written Bilingual skills are required to better serve our diverse patient population A positive, professional phone manner Active and compassionate listener A minimum of 2 years of customer service, intake, or referral development experience An excellent work ethic with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision High School Diploma or equivalent Proficiency in using computer Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
