As a Key Account Sales Manager, you’ll serve as a strategic partner to our key clients, helping them implement solar solutions that meet their technical and business goals. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Account Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts within the solar sector. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with EPCs, project developers, utility companies, and other stakeholders. Develop a deep understanding of clients’ business models, project requirements, and the solar market landscape.

Sales Growth:

Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth. Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals that address the unique needs of solar industry clients. Execute strategic account plans aligned with sales targets.

Customer Support:

Ensure timely and successful delivery of products and solutions to customers. Address and resolve client issues and concerns promptly. Act as the voice of the customer within the organization to drive continuous improvement.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with engineering, project management, and product development teams to ensure seamless execution of projects. Coordinate internal resources to exceed client expectations.

Reporting, CRM & Documentation:

Regularly create and maintain CRM entries, reports, and presentations to track account status, sales activities, and pipeline development. Monitor account performance and industry trends, providing regular updates and forecasts. Track competitor activities and evolving market needs.

Contract Management:

Negotiate contracts and close agreements that maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Experience/Education/Skills Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. 3-5 years’ experience in sales, account management, or business development within the solar, renewable energy, or related technical industries. Proven track record of managing complex accounts and delivering results in a B2B environment, preferably in the utility scale solar industry. Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills. Excellent listening and communication skills. Strong negotiation and presentation skills. Passion for sales, relationship building and customer loyalty. Strong ability to collaborate with partners and peers across the organization and outside to achieve project and operational results. High Level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Travel Expectations Up to 40% travel required, including visits to client sites, solar project locations, industry conferences, trade shows, and company meetings. Must be able to travel independently by car and air, including overnight stays as needed. Flexibility to accommodate client schedules and attend events, which may occasionally occur outside standard business hours.
