Job Description

Bookkeeping Account Manager Keystaff, Inc. West Palm Beach, FL 33417 Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled, organized, technology-enabled QuickBooks Online expert to help our firm support all aspects of the client-based financial operations related to financial reporting, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and banking. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply these skills to client QuickBooksOnline (QBO) files that includes new client file review and onboarding, file cleanup, QBO support & training. All considered a major contribution to the financial health and success of our award-winning professional services firm!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management & Reporting:

Oversight of the financial reporting and the monthly close process Oversight of budgeting and forecasting process and related variance analysis Manage and monitor federal and state tax filings and compliance Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights Monitor banking activities and manage banking relationship Responsible for the completion of professional surveys and benchmarking studies

Accounting Operations:

Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial reporting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, billing and general ledger Leverage technology to improve efficiency and streamline processes across the departments Support and manage the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate processing of client/vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and client cost billings High-level review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions Identifying and advising clients on which QuickBooks Online solution is best suited for them Create new QBO file and assign proper chart of accounts based on industry and business type Possess extensive knowledge with how all aspects of QuickBooks Online can be used and advise on best practices Identify and fix complex issues with client files Ability to teach and train clients to utilize QBO to its fullest capabilities, in an individual or group setting.

Team Leadership and Development:

Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth Provide guidance and training on accounting principles, software tools, and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize efficiency with a focus on leveraging technology

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in accounting 6+ years of previous experience in a financial services or professional services organization Solid understanding of different Industries and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) for each. Expert level knowledge and proficiency of QuickBooks Online Current Year QuickBooks Online & QuickBooks Online Advance certification. Strong analytical and technical skills to produce timely, high-quality work High degree of initiative, self-starter nature Displays leadership within a financially driven organization. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to compile and present data through the preparation of concise detailed reports Excellent written & verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively manage a team
